Switzerland — voluntary returns

For purchases governed by the Swiss regime, we retain the voluntary return period of 14 days after receipt, in original condition with packaging and labels intact. Contact us to arrange return. Personalised and perishable goods are excluded from this voluntary offer. Following receipt and inspection, refunds use the original payment method within 14 working days. Statutory rights concerning defects remain unaffected.

Germany — right of withdrawal

Consumers in Germany may withdraw from a distance contract without giving a reason, normally within 14 calendar days after receiving the goods. For a single order delivered separately, the period starts upon receipt of the final item. Send a clear declaration by email or letter to WeinExperience. Sending it before the deadline is sufficient; prior approval is not required.

Germany — return and refund

Return the goods without delay and within 14 days of communicating withdrawal. The refund includes payments received and standard outbound delivery, excluding extra costs of a more expensive delivery option you selected. We refund through the same method, without fees, within 14 calendar days of the notice. We may withhold reimbursement until receipt of the goods or evidence of dispatch, whichever comes first. The Swiss 14-working-day period does not apply here.

Condition and exceptions

In Germany, missing original packaging alone does not cancel withdrawal rights. Handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature and characteristics of the goods may result in compensation for loss of value under the law. Statutory exceptions include personalised and rapidly perishable goods. Wine is not generally excluded merely because it contains alcohol. Defect claims are separate from change-of-mind returns.
