Character & description
Four grapes make up Arché red 2023: Cabernet Sauvignon, Alicante Bouschet, Syrah and Touriga Nacional from Alentejo. Offered here in a 9-litre bottle, a format to consider for a larger gathering.
Menthol and preserved woodland berries mark the profile. Velvety tannins and balance lead to an intense, persistent finish.
The wine matures for twelve months in new 500-litre French oak casks, followed by another twelve months in bottle.
Our suggestion: a special-occasion braise, beef with a rich sauce or mature hard cheese, served in a large red wine glass.
