Three Dão varieties and a two-stage maturation define Grande Villae 2020: 40% Alfrocheiro, 30% Touriga Nacional and 30% Tinta Roriz.
Vinification and maturation in cement tulips are followed by 17 months in 500-litre French oak barrels. The grapes are hand-picked in Castendo, on granite soils.
Our suggestion: slow-braised meat or a mushroom dish.
