Character & description
A full-bodied Reserva from Vidigueira in Alentejo, blending Aragonez, Trincadeira, Alicante Bouschet and Alfrocheiro. This deep-garnet red from Herdade do Sobroso combines ripe red berries, fruit preserve and chocolate, with a long, intense finish.
The grapes are picked by hand and vinified in stainless steel at a controlled temperature. After fermentation, the skins stay in contact with the wine for 21 days. The wine then spends twelve months in 500-litre French Allier oak casks.
Our suggestion: Pair it with a mushroom-rich slow-cooked dish or mature cheese. Choose a generous red-wine glass and take time to enjoy it at the table.
