Tasting Note: Garrafeira Quinta das Camélias attests to the expression of the Dão terroir and personality in a unique wine. Made from the harmony of the Touriga Nacional, Alfrocheiro, and Tinta Roriz grape varieties, grown and vinified at our Quinta, this wine represents a milestone in the character of the enigmatic Dão wines. It has a deep garnet color, a very complex and refined aroma that reveals notes of plums and ripe blackberries with a slight sultana hint, dried fruits, and fine spices such as cinnamon and cloves combined with gentle balsamic notes. It displays a well-considered volume, very balanced and harmonious, with silky, firm tannins. It shows a high degree of finesse and an exquisite, long-lasting bouquet. It should be enjoyed at a temperature of 16-18° C with red meat dishes and strong cheeses.
